Hello Everyone!  Just as I promised...our new, exciting newsletter and schedule is now ready!!  So take a few minutes, pour a cold glass of lemonade, put your feet up and read on......
CLUBS-  Civil War Club - meets the first Tuesday of the month from 10am-2pm.  We do have a couple spots open at the current time.  This is a 6-month club committment, $30 plus project supplies.  Call the shop for more info.
               Stash Pot Pie, Evening Club - this club meets on the first Tuesday of the month from 6pm-9pm.  We pick a scrappy pattern and you bring fabric from your stash.  This club is full at the current time.
              Stash Pot Pie, Daytime Club - this club meets on the second Tuesday of the month from 10am-2pm.  We do have an opening in this group at the present time.  A project is chosed by the shop and you bring fabric from your stash to  make it with.  This is a 5-month committment for $25.00.
              Virgin Strippers - meets on the second Tuesday of the month from 6pm-9pm. This club began using 2 1/2" strips to make quilts..it has evolved into a project club.  We are full at this time.
              Original Strippers - meets on the third Tuesday of the month from 6pm-9pm.  This group has been with the shop for  nearly 5 years!  Needless to say we have no openings at this time.  But keep checking as we sometimes we do!
               Embroidery Club -  this club meets on the second Thursday of the month from 10:30am-2pm.  We are beginning our next group project.  This is a Crabapple Hill Halloween pattern, Calendula Patterdrip's Cottage, which will be a 7- month committment at $49.00.  Janet Scott from E-town will be showing the techniques used in the pattern.
              Whimpy All-Niters -- we are starting our Fourth group of Whimps!!  Beginning in September our fourth group of whimps will begin meeting on the first Friday of the month.  We only have 6 seats available so if you are interested CALL ASAP to make sure you are in!! This is a 6-month committment for $42.00. We plan a pot-luck dinner most Fridays.  Our club which meets on the 2nd Friday of the month is currently full and our club that meets on the 4th Friday of the month has one opening!  We also have a group of Daytime Whimps!  This group meets on the last Tuesday of the month from 10am-4pm.  Call and see if we have any openings!!!

JULY  22 & 23 -- JINGLE BELL HOP  This is an annual hop which is so much fun!  We have great
                            Prizes and all Christmas fabric on the bolt  is 20% off, 1/2 yard min. cut.  Passports are $3.00 until Hop starts then they go to $4.00.

AUGUST EVENTS
   BEGINNER BUGGY BARN CLASS       Instructor:  Karla Hein      Cost:  $25.00 plus supplies     Date & Time:  August 5, 10am-3pm
  This is a great class to learn a fun technique with our Buggy Barn Queen, Karla!  She will show you the ins and outs the Buggy Barn Way!  Be sure to take this class if you are interested in any of our other, more difficult Buggy Barn Classes....or just to brush up on your technique.
   
  BEGINNING QUILTING     Instructor:  Karla Hein     Cost:  $35.00 plus supplies      Date&Time:  Aug. 8, 15, 22   6pm-9pm
      Everything you ever wanted to learn about quilting!  This is the class for you.  Karla will show you how to safely use a rotary cutter, rulers, strip piece, follow directions and make a lap size Log Cabin quilt.  All supplies purchased at the shop receive a 10% discount.  Only 6 seats in this class so HURRY!!!  This is the only time a Beginner Class is being offered until  after the first of the year!

LAZY ANGLE CLASS     Instructor:  Jeanette Lone    Cost:  $20.00 plus supplies     Date&Time:  August 20, 10:30am-1:30pm
      Teaching her first class at the shop, Jeanette will be using her expertise with this great new ruler.  This is only ONE of the blocks you can make with this ruler.(There are 9 more!!)  There is some prep work before this class so be sure to get your supply list when you sign up.  This class is also limited to 6 students.
 
 FUN 'DONE    Instructor:  Judi Robinson    Cost:  $35.00 plus supplies     Date&Time:  August 24,  10:30am-4pm
     Learn to Quilt as you go completely using your sewing machine!  Judi has mastered this technique making this table runner.  You may opt to make a quilt or runner.  Ruler and pattern are required.

BEYOND BEGINNERS   Instructor:  Karla Hein    Cost:   $35.00 plus supplies     Date&Time:  August 31, Sept. 7 & Sept. 14  - 6pm-9pm
     What a great row quilt this is!  You will learn SOOO many techniques in this class once you are done.....you should beable to master just about any pattern!  Once again this class is limited to 6.

      Back by popular demand...a witchy Halloween quilt.  Karla will show you a more advanced Buggy Barn technique while making this great Halloween Quilt.  Note:  You must have taken at least 1 other Buggy Barn Class to take this one.  Class size is limited to 6.
MACHINE QUILTING WITH JULIE     Instructor:  Julie Lambert    Cost:  $45.00 plus supplies    Date&Time: Sept. 3, 10:30-4pm
   Learn to quilt on your own sewing machine!  Julie Lambert will share all of her tips on machine quilting with you.  She will have a great trunk show of quilts she has quilted.  This class is a MUST if you want to quilt your own quilts!  Julie is the best.

RAGS TO RUGS     Instructor:  Michelle Klein    Cost:  $25.00 plus frame and fabric    Date&Time:  Sept. 10,  10am-4pm
       What a great way to use up all that UGLY fabric you bought...way back when????!!!!  This is a great technique to make a nice sized throw rug.  You will need 2 1/2 yrds to warp the frame and 15 yards to make the rug!!!!

SQUARE IN SQUARE   Instructor:  Judi Robinson  Cost: $35.00 plus supplies   Date&Tiime:  Sept. 14 & 21, 10:30am-4pm
   Learn this great time saving technique...use one ruler to make a variety of blocks.  Judi will help you make this gorgeous quilt step by step.  Class size is limited to 6 and requires purchase of book and ruler.

Hello Everyone!  Just as I promised...our new, exciting newsletter and schedule is now ready!!  So take a few minutes, pour a cold glass of lemonade, put your feet up and read on......
CLUBS-  Civil War Club - meets the first Tuesday of the month from 10am-2pm.  We do have a couple spots open at the current time.  This is a 6-month club committment, $30 plus project supplies.  Call the shop for more info.
               Stash Pot Pie, Evening Club - this club meets on the first Tuesday of the month from 6pm-9pm.  We pick a scrappy pattern and you bring fabric from your stash.  This club is full at the current time.
              Stash Pot Pie, Daytime Club - this club meets on the second Tuesday of the month from 10am-2pm.  We do have an opening in this group at the present time.  A project is chosed by the shop and you bring fabric from your stash to  make it with.  This is a 5-month committment for $25.00.
              Virgin Strippers - meets on the second Tuesday of the month from 6pm-9pm. This club began using 2 1/2" strips to make quilts..it has evolved into a project club.  We are full at this time.
              Original Strippers - meets on the third Tuesday of the month from 6pm-9pm.  This group has been with the shop for  nearly 5 years!  Needless to say we have no openings at this time.  But keep checking as we sometimes we do!
               Embroidery Club -  this club meets on the second Thursday of the month from 10:30am-2pm.  We are beginning our next group project.  This is a Crabapple Hill Halloween pattern, Calendula Patterdrip's Cottage, which will be a 7- month committment at $49.00.  Janet Scott from E-town will be showing the techniques used in the pattern.
              Whimpy All-Niters -- we are starting our Fourth group of Whimps!!  Beginning in September our fourth group of whimps will begin meeting on the first Friday of the month.  We only have 6 seats available so if you are interested CALL ASAP to make sure you are in!! This is a 6-month committment for $42.00. We plan a pot-luck dinner most Fridays.  Our club which meets on the 2nd Friday of the month is currently full and our club that meets on the 4th Friday of the month has one opening!  We also have a group of Daytime Whimps!  This group meets on the last Tuesday of the month from 10am-4pm.  Call and see if we have any openings!!!

  This is a great class to learn a fun technique with our Buggy Barn Queen, Karla!  She will show you the ins and outs the Buggy Barn Way!  Be sure to take this class if you are interested in any of our other, more difficult Buggy Barn Classes....or just to brush up on your technique.

      Everything you ever wanted to learn about quilting!  This is the class for you.  Karla will show you how to safely use a rotary cutter, rulers, strip piece, follow directions and make a lap size Log Cabin quilt.  All supplies purchased at the shop receive a 10% discount.  Only 6 seats in this class so HURRY!!!  This is the only time a Beginner Class is being offered until  after the first of the year!

LAZY ANGLE CLASS     Instructor:  Jeanette Lone    Cost:  $20.00 plus supplies     Date&Time:  August 20, 10:30am-1:30pm
      Teaching her first class at the shop, Jeanette will be using her expertise with this great new ruler.  This is only ONE of the blocks you can make with this ruler.(There are 9 more!!)  There is some prep work before this class so be sure to get your supply list when you sign up.  This class is also limited to 6 students.
