The Gathering Room is a quilt shop located in Historic Downtown LaGrange, KY. The building we call home was built in 1880's and is registered with the Historical Society. We have over 1400 square feet for our fabric, classroom, patterns, books and notions. Our town is known for it's railroad tracks going down Main Street.

We specialze in Civil War Reproduction Fabrics from Windham, Marcus Brothers, Andover and Moda. An entire room is devoted to these fabrics and patterns. Come take a walk back through history with us....

We also carry a large selection of 30's Reproduction Fabrics.

Traditional quilting fabrics including homespuns, flannels,warm color tones and complete lines of fabric are also offered at The Gathering Room Quilt Shoppe. Some lines include fabrics from Moda, Benertex, Windham, Marcus Brothers, Red Rooster, Thimbleberries and RJR to name a few.

New fabric is arriving on a continual basis. Stop in and see what is new.

The calendars are HERE and going FAST!!!! What a wonderful response we have had for our calendars.....we have re-ordered a second printing!!! Thanks so much for all of your support!!
We are offering Thimbleberries again for 2009 in TWO color ways....light and traditional. Spots are limited so stop in and see the new quilt (we love it!!!) We will be meeting the second Saturday of the month. $15 will secure you a color way and seat in the club! Club will begin meeting in January 2009. Cost will be $23.99 per month for 12 months. Or if you pay for the entire year up front you will receive a 10% discount!!!!!
Jo's Little Women will also begin in January 2009. There are seats for only 9 in this club as you will bring your machine and sew with us! Club fee is $15 per month plus you will be required to purchase a tower of 25 fat quarters of Jo Morton Fabrics. This is a 6-month club and will meet the first Wednesday evening of every month 6pm-9pm. This club is filling up quickly so hurry in!!!
New fabric is arriving!!!!! We have received batiks from Hoffman...yummy colors for all you batik fanatics!!! We have also received Quaker Quilts by Judi Rothermel and Marcus Brothers...a wonderful panel and gorgeous REDS!!!! Time to stop in and see all the new things!!
